It has been.........a while. Since March, I think! It's been forever since I last made a blog post or anything! So... what's been up?
The first thing is that I stopped doing newsletters every month. It was a fun experiment for the few months I did it, but I don't think it's for me! It ended up feeling like something I had to do, while my posts on here are done whenever I want. With that being said, I'm gonna keep the Star Letter up for archival.
Let's talk things that are happening on the site!
There's been lots of updates lately, namely in redesigning some pages! The first I'd like to talk about is the Cinnaverse site!
In early March of this year I decided to make the Cinnaverse its own subdomain rather than being a folder on this site. I'm still so happy I made that decision! And since mid-May, I've been redesigning the whole freaking site and it looks AMAZING!!
Look at this it looks so good!!!
It has a new sidebar, a new header, and I'm so excited to show it off once I finish it! It'll take a while since I still have a lot to do behind the scenes, but I hope the wait will be worth it!
The next page I'm working on is a gallery for all of the art I made from 2009-2017. I made an update on my Neocities profile about this, but I took those separate galleries down because I was a kid/young adult at the time and it doesn't match my current style anymore! I would rather have the focus to be on the art I make now. I still wanted to keep the art up since I think it's fun to see how an artist's style developed over time, so that's why I'm working on this new gallery!
Like the Cinnaverse site this gallery has a loooooooong way to go before it's live, so please bear with me while I work on it behind the scenes.
The last page I finished was a redesign of the OC Corner! I gave it a whole new coat of paint and it's brighter than ever!
I'm also working on a mini bio page for characters that aren't really active characters, like parents/guardians. They're not active enough to give them a bio page, but I still wanted to add them somehow, so I'm putting them into a page where their link from the OC index will send you to their corner of the mini bio page. The screenshot on the right above was me testing a mobile friendly version of it.
Art Fight is next month and the teams were revealed yesterday! I'll be repping Team Stardust and I'm raring to go! My goal is to focus on revenge attacks from last year! Here's my featured roster for this year! You can find my page here!
And one last thing... I started playing FFXIV and I'm having a lot of fun! :] I play as a Lalafell healer, but apparently playing as a healer is like the hard mode?? In any case I'm looking to change my class when I get the chance!
