I have acquired...

a printer. 8)
An Epson ET-2980 to be exact!! Since I've been printing a lot of my worldbuilding stuff and my older art, I considered getting one but held off because of the cost.. (in fact I initially planned to get the ET-8550... but I do noootttttt have that kinda cash to drop right now asfbjsdkfjs) but tbh how much I print these days is gonna pay off the price of the printer LMAO
This printer is so sexy and cool. It's an Eco Tank so, according to those who have used one, you rarely have to refill the ink on these. Which is a plus!! I don't have to give [print shop] any more of my money! I don't have to drive somewhere to print stuff! Yippee! Yahoo!!!

These were the first couple things I printed to test it out! I'm not really expecting high quality with these, but I do want my art to look nice and as close to the original as possible! I've only tested 65lb cardstock paper, 28lb, and basic 20lb copy paper, but I wanna see how it all looks on glossy cardstock. Hopefully I can see how it looks pretty soon!
One thing I've learned while researching printers is the difference between laser and inkjet printers- for example, inkjet prints embed the ink onto the paper while the print sits on top of the paper when you print using a laser printer. The texture of a print is very noteable with a laser printer, but I looooooooove how you can see the texture of the paper underneath an inkjet print. I live for details like that and I love inkjet printers more for that!
I'm gonna have so much fun playing with this haha. At home we haven't had a functioning printer in well over a decade so I'm pretty excited LOL. I was even able to print out the entire script for Star Quest chapter 3 and it was awesome. What the hell!!!!!!!
Anyway this printer is so awesome. Also it was on sale at the time which is even more sexy.
